I went to Santa Fe Christian just up the street for high school so I've been to Claire's many times over the years and this past weekend it was just as good as I had remembered. There is always a bit of a wait during weekend mornings and we were told we would have to wait 25 minutes, but it ended up being about 5 to 10 minutes. We were able to be seated inside, but they have plenty of heated outdoor seating in the back as well. Parking is extremely easy because there is a free parking lot in the back or it's also easy to find parking in the train station parking lot across the street. They don't have a very large menu, but it has a lot of great options on it. For my breakfast I started off with the Salted Caramel Latte and thought it was fantastic. Claire's is known to have some of the best coffee around and it was just as good as it always has been. For my entrée, I chose the Parmesan Risotto and Cured Bacon Benedict and really enjoyed it. It was an extremely unique take on a classic dish that I love so it was nice to have a different version. The hashbrowns on the side were fantastic and I would highly recommend anyone ordering them. Overall a great breakfast spot and somewhere that I would call a neighborhood gem. It's definitely a hit with the locals, but would be great for people visiting town as well. I plan to be back in the near future.

Worth the wait! But definitely join the online waitlist. Service slow once seated, but definitely comfy. Cute and open, with tons of outdoor seating and heat lamps when 60 degrees is freezing in socal. So many dogs on the patio!! Delicious food - everything was a hit. The risotto Benedict's were the best - coconut Corrido heavenly, lemon ricotta pancakes, delish. Can't go wrong!

Food was delicious! Service was very slow. After waiting twenty minutes for a table. It took our server 15 minutes to even say hi. Then she only took our drink order even though we said we were ready and had to wait another 10 minutes to place the order. Thankfully the food came out relatively quickly as we were starving by that point.

Tasty food, great atmosphere! We were going to go to another restaurant in the area and my friend remembered this place! I'm glad we went! So many great options. I was inspired by their Irish Coffee and decided to ask for their Dark Chocolate Mocha with a shot of vodka! It was delicious, and I highly recommend you try it. Just ask for a touch more chocolate to offset the vodka taste! #yourewelcome I'll be back!!!

Food: I feel like I've ordered every item at one time or another and it's always fresh, hot and delicious but today was a beach bowl kind of morning, fruit, vanilla yogurt with dallops of acai, delicious and filling. Service: Good, professional & warm Ambiance: outside patio was great with a chill vibe

We live to combine a home at Annie's canyon down the street with a visit to Claire's before or after. I joined the wait-list on Google maps as I was driving there. Checked into the hostess stand after I was able to score the last spot in their small parking lot behind the restaurant. There is plenty of parking across the street. Service was good and we were there at noon for lunch. It was busy but there were still plenty of empty tables out on their back patio. We had a little wait for our food orders and they came out at different times. We ordered the salmon and peach salad and the veggie sandwich. The salad was very fresh and delicious. The veggie sandwich wasn't a hit so we don't recommend that dish. High stack of fresh vegetables but tasteless.

Great brunch location in Solana Beach. They have a wide breakfast and lunch menu with a nice combo of classic items and more speciality options. My friend and I both went for the breakfast sandwich + hashbrowns which was a solid choice. Another friend ordered one of their speciality eggs benedict and it also looked amazing. The fresh squeezed orange juice is also a must. It's a great location in Solana Beach with easy parking. Only downside is that it can get VERY busy and they don't take reservations. But you can put your name in online beforehand so I highly recommend doing that. Will return here.

My friend and I stopped here after a hike, and despite the busy Saturday morning crowd, the 20-minute wait was totally worth it! The food was fantastic, and my Caffe Latte was delightful. We shared the California Omelet, Avocado Toast, and Caramelized Tahitian Vanilla Bean French Toast--everything was delicious. Seated outside, I loved the restaurant's design; it felt like I was dining in someone's beautifully decorated backyard. I definitely recommend this spot! Hot tip: There's free public parking available across from Claire's On Cedros, and if you're looking for something to do after it's about a 6-minute walk from the restaurant to downtown Solana, where you can explore some neat shops.

We joined the yelp waiting list 2 hours prior to arrival, so we only had to wait 10min for our table to be ready when we go there. There is a huge free parking lot directly across the street from the restaurant. Food: - (Recommend) Maple fried chicken sandwich: The batter surrounding the chicken breast did not have any noticeable crunch, but I really liked the hint of maple sweetness. The sunny side up egg erupted some nice runny yolk. The bun was soft. I was debating whether to order this since it does not seem to be a commonly ordered item in the yelp reviews. But I liked it and am glad to have tried it! I was debating between this and the sweet/savoury burger. If you are a lover of chicken sandwiches, you should give it a try. I still want to try the burger though. - (Recommend) Side of shoestring fries with herb seasoning: These fries were perfectly crispy. I love shoestring fries too, because my favorite part of the fry is always the crunchy exterior, not the fluffy interior. -(Recommend) Italian sausage and ricotta flatbread: Our favorite dish of the meal. It was just so flavourful. The crust was super thin and floppy though, in case you are expecting a crisp crust. Doesn't matter, super delicious and would order again. - (Pass) Stuffed French toast: I actually came specifically for the french toast, and while everything else impressed me, I was not a fan of the french toast. It was not sweet, it was not tart. It was bland. The fruit could have used carmelization. The ricotta cheese was creamy, but ricotta does not have much intrinsic flavor. Ambiance: It is SO NOISY inside. My ears were ringing. It was hard to have a conversation with my partner. I wonder if it is quieter outside of the popular brunch hour.

Claire's on Cedros is one of my go-to's for brunch in Solana Beach. This spot is always packed so there is usually a wait for a table but the food and drinks come out pretty fast once you're seated. The back patio has such a nice atmosphere as well if you can get a table back there! The staff is also super friendly and attentive! The food itself is amazing, I have enjoyed everything I have had here. The Green Scramble is a healthy option with lots of fresh greens. But The Angus Short Rib & Hash Brown Potato Cakes are unreal. So much flavor and texture in every bite! They also have yummy mimosas in all sorts of flavors and great coffee. Can't wait to keep coming back and knocking more dishes off the list!
